Welcome to People's Memorial Association

Everyone deserves respect in life and death.  People's Memorial Association (PMA) seeks to reduce challenges during the difficult time when a loved one dies.  People who access our services make informed decisions about what they want at end of life that reflect their personal values and resources.  They gain the tools to advocate for and educate themselves about their options, to get their end-of-life plan down in writing, and to share their wishes with their loved ones. 

Since 1939, PMA has been the thought-leader for funeral choice, education, and advocacy in Washington State.  In addition to the resources we provide about end of life, we are a membership group.  There are currently over 71,000 living members in Washington State, and since our inception in 1939, we have served over 210,000 people and their loved ones.  Our members access affordable funeral arrangements at over 20 participating funeral homes across the state.
